Welcome to ADE Notary Services® (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or using our notary services (including mobile, electronic, and remote notarization), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

ADE Notary Services® provides:

  • Traditional Notary Services: In-person document notarization.

  • Mobile Notary Services: Travel to your location for notarizations.

  • Electronic & Remote Online Notarization (RON): Virtual notarization services via secure, compliant platforms.

  • Additional Services: Identity verification, document witnessing, and other related services as permitted by law.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide valid, government-issued photo identification.

  • Be physically present (or virtually present for RON) for the notarization.

  • Confirm that all documents are complete (no blank spaces) before signing.

  • Ensure all required witnesses are present, where applicable.

  • Pay all applicable service fees as outlined in our pricing policy.

3. Service Fees and Payments

  • Service fees are determined based on document type, travel distance, and additional requirements.

  • Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit, Zelle, PayPal, etc.

  • Late payments or returned transactions may incur additional charges.

4. Travel & Cancellation Policy

  • A travel fee applies for mobile notary services based on distance and time.

  • Cancellations: Must be made at least 12 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before an appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee (typically equal to the travel fee).

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

5. Limitations of Service

  • We are not attorneys. ADE Notary Services® does not provide legal advice or draft legal documents.

  • We cannot verify the accuracy or legality of the content in your documents.

  • Notaries may decline service if:

    • The signer appears coerced or unable to understand the document.

    • The signer cannot provide valid ID.

    • The document is incomplete or suspicious.

    • The request violates applicable notary laws.

6. Remote Online Notarization (RON)

  • RON services are conducted via state-approved and encrypted platforms.

  • The signer must have a device with video/audio capabilities and a stable internet connection.

  • A technology fee may apply for RON sessions.

7. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All personal information and documents are kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of notarization.

  • We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or court order.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • ADE Notary Services® shall not be liable for any damages, claims, or losses arising from your reliance on our services beyond the notarization of signatures.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific notarial act.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and become effective upon posting.
